Scrapbooking, and other things to occupy my time here...

Well here I am again. I don't blog often enough because quite frankly it seems to be in vain. I have no followers, nor am I following anyone else. I tried to replace my MySpace fascination with Blogger, but my friends seem to be completely unwilling...in due time...all in due time...
Well, this blog is about my hobbies. I love to make things and to be honest, the pride I feel in what I make, leads me to "show-off". If anyone out there would like to swap ideas with me, that would be wonderful. I would LOVE the opportunity to learn techniques and tips and would to share mine as well.

This is a 9 1/2" x 9 1/2" piece of craft wood and I scrapbooked over it. I get so tired of putting so much love into a layout and then hiding it in a book! So, I made wall hangings. These will be hung amongst framed photos in a wall grouping. I'll be sure to post pictures of the finished grouping when I'm done with it.








Isn't he the best looking kid ever!!!!! Yep, He's mine!!!! I love the wooden cow and sun...I was SOOOO tempted to make an old-school, Care-Bear, I'm-a-child-of-the-eighties smile on the sun's face. I resisted.

My Little Man is 5 months old today! I can't believe it! I shot this pic at Bama Belle's this morning over eggs. When I pick him up today from school, we'll have our "birthday photo session." I love that that at his age, he finds the picture taking fun. Mommy looks so funny behind a camera!!! I hope he stays this way, not because I'll have to take less pictures, but because he'll be much happier with his picture crazed mother. Tomorrow is my first Saturday of my new 6 days a week work schedule. I'm excited because the money is worth it but am not looking forward to the '6 days a week' part. I love my Saturdays. Mainly because I still look forward to the sleeping in that has not happened since Ashton. I tease my self by not setting my alarm but I have a living alarm clock in the next room who has NO IDEA when its Saturday! 'Tis the blessing of a well-scheduled child!

You know, I think my baby is the cutest in the world, like most moms. BUT, other parents of contestants are really getting on my last nerve!!! They think the best way to win this thing is to vote the other babies lower. I tried the high road on this one, but I'm tired of my baby being "picked on." How dare y'all!
